Mike and Petagay discovered South Andros Island soon after they met while living in Key West in 1995 and decided that it would be the perfect place for a small guesthouse or hotel. They felt that South Andros Island’s natural beauty - undeveloped and pristine - was the greatest attraction. And they became committed to keep it that way. From the very beginning, Petagay and Mike took great care in designing and planning a resort that was appealing and comfortable, yet had little impact on the local environment.  When you visit Tiamo, you’ll see their success first hand.
