The Dock
Tiamo is remotely located on South Andros Island in The Bahamas. You’ll arrive in dramatic fashion right on the shores of our pristine 12-acre white sand beach by seaplane or ferried here by Tiamo boat and friendly captain. As you near the resort property, you’ll soon see why we chose this piece of paradise. Lush coconut trees seem to rise from the turquoise waters on the horizon, surrounded by a canopy of rich green tropical flora. We’ll greet you dockside and whisk your bags to your private beach bungalow. You’ve arrived. Welcome to paradise.

The Lodge
Take off your shoes and walk through the winding white sand paths from the dock to the main lodge. Have a drink at the bar, or an afternoon snack. Makia your guest concierge will warmly welcome you and check you in while going over the details of your stay. The lodge is where you will dine for breakfast, lunch and lavish Caribbean dinners as well as nightly happy hour for cocktails. You’ll soon find that the main lodge is the center of activity for everything at Tiamo.

Private Beach Bungalows
A short walk away from the main lodge are eleven simple yet stylish and spacious bungalows, tastefully appointed in colorful Caribbean fashion. The structures are raised, open-air screened structures, designed to maximize the tropical Bahamian breezes. Each bungalow is surrounded by lush tropical wilderness and boasts a scenic view of the turquoise blue waters of the South Bight. Your room has an inviting king-size bed beneath a pitched ceiling and whirring fan with comfortable lounge chairs on the wrap-around screened porch.

Beach
The pristine white beach of Tiamo is a site to behold. Beautiful and  naturally cared for, the calm waters of the South Bight gently ease onto the shore.

Trails
The many trails of Tiamo are just waiting to be explored. Take a biologist-guided tour with a member of our Nature Concierge Team and learn about plant and animal life as well as our sustainable tourism practices. You can also grab a trail map and head out on your own.

Kayaks + Trimarans
Take out a kayak or trimaran for a sail on the calm, clear waters of the South Bight. They are here for your pleasure.
