We recently returned from our vacation to Tiamo and we are already trying to figure out how soon we can return. Not only is the location breathtaking - the accomodations, the staff, the bonefishing and the food are beyond any possible expectation that you might have for a resort as small and as remote as this one is. You really feel like you're on vacation - the lack of contact with the outside world forced us to downshift and appreciate every second of time that we had together.

Despite being back in the "hustle and bustle", Barry and I remain mellow and refreshed just a few days at Tiamo really relaxed us, but strangely also reenergized! You have heard all the accolades before, so just add our praise! Tiamo is beautiful, tasteful, serene. It's paradise! You and your staff welcome and offer plenty of interesting activity and yet create an ambience that suggests lying in a hammock half the day is a perfect way to spend time too!

We went to Tiamo with three other couples for my 40th birthday getaway. Never has relaxing been so much fun. Guys fished a few days, wives snorkeled and the other day they dropped us off at our own remote beach with some punch, a few beers and some kayaks. We had a great time. The staff is excellent and the food is perfectly balanced. The low-key nature of the place and the private bunglows offer an excellent refuge to just unwind. We have travelled all over the islands and found this to be a jewel in the sand. Cheers to Tiamo and their helpful local staff.

Wow, what a great vacation. We went for our honeymoon, and it was absolutely what we wanted, and more. The best thing about Tiamo is the nature. My wife was a bit scared to go snorkelling out in the open water, but the two nature guides were so helpful and supportive. Although we were on our honeymoon, we learned way more that I thought we would about the local ecology and environment from the guides, and although we were not expecting an educational vacation, we were pleasantly surprised to have had one. The bungalows were beautiful, and we could hear the waves on the beach from our bed. The place is deserted, it's like gilligan's island, except we got to the the best food imaginable. We don't know when we will be able to come back, but we definitely will be coming soon!
Bone Fishing Paradise. Servo
We just returned from enjoying 5 wonderful days of the Bahamian Island experience. I must comment on the outstanding bone fishing and our guide Alvin - the scenery and widlife viewing were great - but boating a bone fish on a fly rod is really special. We participated in all activities - sailing, kayaking, snorkeling, nature hikes and serious sunlounging - the activities staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The snorkeling trips were unique and beautiful.
