As you’d expect from a resort that sits on some of the world’s most abundantly stocked waters, fishing takes centre stage at Tiamo. But fishing here is more than just your average angling experience the west of South Andros Island offers some of the world’s best bonefishing. Experienced anglers and novices alike are guaranteed a fantastic experience here; our first-class guides will help you find the best spots and hone your fly technique so that you get maximum enjoyment. You can fish right off the shores of the resort, or take a 20 minute boat trip round to the wild west where the tidal flats and mangroves not only play host to the bountiful bonefish, but also shelter a terrific array of other species to cast for, including tarpon, barracuda, jacks, and several species of shark. And if you want to go on a deep-sea fishing adventure into the Tongue of the Ocean, out to the east of the island, we can also arrange that too in our own fully equipped sports fishing boat.
