When we say we’re secluded and exclusive, we mean it. We’re not connected by road, so to get to the resort you’ll have to take a boat or seaplane. There’s an airport on South Andros, Congo Town International, which receives flights from Nassau and Fort Lauderdale, and from there it’s a short boat ride, skippered by one of our boat captains, to Tiamo. Flying time from Fort Lauderdale is about an hour, and just a 15 minute hop from Nassau.

Private charters straight to Congo Town are available from Watermakersair, who fly daily from Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport. Tiamo guests receive a special fare. Visit www.watermakersair.com or call 1 954 771 0330 for more details. Golden Wings is another good charter company for the Bahamas.

Commercial flights operate from Nassau into Congo Town (TZN), just south of Tiamo, or Mangrove Cay (MAY), north of the South Bight. A reliable airline that runs a twice-daily return service to Congo Town is Western Air.

And for a classic travel experience, arrive in style by chartering a seaplane to fly directly to the resort, where you’ll disembark barefoot right on to our beautiful beach. See Safari Sea Planes or call Paul Harding on (242) 362-1263 for more details.
